Cooper is a 12-week-old Shaded English Cream Dachshund…my favorite!!! — because they actually look like mini-Becks’s (to me, anyway) when they’re full grown because they have the long golden fur with the dachshund physique.
I’m so excited I get to watch Cooper grow up this year! Needless to say, the Puppy Package is one of my favorite offerings because not only do I get to meet a brand new puppy and smell that yummy puppy breath, we have all sorts of options when we’re finished with the three sessions because we can do before-and-after storyboards and series, and books chronicling their first year. What could be better?!
Anyway — Cooper was an amazing little guy, already responding to his name and is learning “sit” and “lay down” and although it took a long time to tire him out for the last shots of the session, he was always making eye great eye contact and I never once saw him chewing on things he wasn’t supposed to (this was the bane of our existence with the guide dog puppies — constantly having to pull dirt and rocks and whatever-you-can-think-of out of their mouths 24/7)! I was pretty impressed. He should be in commercials!
