This session was sadly bittersweet — it was given as a gift to Wilbur’s mom, who rescued and co-owned Wilbur with her boyfriend. They recently broke up, and now he’s taking Wilbur with him to live on the west coast so these photos were to celebrate her time with him since she won’t be seeing him very often.
Wilbur is a rambunctious explorer who thought the idea of photos when there were so many things to sniff out was just silly. But even while exploring, he always came back to check on his mom! So while we don’t have too many sitting-pretty photos of Wilbur showing off his commands, Wilbur showed us something else instead: his unconditional, unwavering love for his mom.
